Our Story

Palmier creates super simple, quality collections designed to be worn both on the beach and in the city. Linen is our passion along with effortlessly chic pieces that don’t scrimp on comfort. 

Palmier was founded by Tessa Holladay in 2018, one of Sophia Topley’s oldest and dearest friends. You could find these two pottering down Portobello Road or sipping cocktails on a beach. Fast forward to 2023, Tessa has moved to Barbados and is meeting Sophia during her flying visit to London to sign the last bits of paperwork. We are thrilled to share that Sophia Topley has is now Director of Palmier and has lots of exciting plans for us in the near future. You can read more about this here. (Add interview) 

Sophia has started this year meeting with our wonderful European manufacturers who share our sustainable approach. It’s this ethos that allows us to know the journey of our garments from the mill to our customer. As we continue working on small runs of our own collections as well as Palmier Homeware (a passion for our newly appointed director) we will be introducing you to Palmier’s Friends. A space to bring our customers fabulous pieces from brands that share our lifestyle and ethos.
